Congratulations to our School Choir who came first in both of their classes at Portadown Music Festival this week. They also won the Brian Toms Cup and £200 presented from the Anniversary Bursary for the best performance in the hymn singing classes. Due to their success they have been invited back to sing at the Portadown Music Festival Gala Concert on Wednesday evening at 7pm. It is a huge honour for the choir to be recognised in this way and they look forward to performing in front of other prizewinners, parents and special guests.
Congratulations also to all the children who entered the solo singing classes, you each displayed great confidence as you stepped outside your comfort zone and performed on stage on your own.
Special thanks to Mrs Neill and Mrs Allen for giving up so much of their time to ensure the children were so well prepared for the Festival.
The children enjoyed special break time treats to celebrate their huge success this week. Thank you to the Willis family for kindly providing the delicious donuts and sweets. Well done OCPS!🌟
