Throughout the term the class have been finding out about ourselves. One of the traditional tales we read together was the Gingerbread boy. As a treat for the end of a busy half term the children sucessfully followed a simple recipe to make gingerbread. They decorated their gingerbread boy or girl, gave them a name and made up adventures about them. Thankfully all made their way home and none escaped from the oven or were eaten by a fox!
