Thank you Mr Ellis for visiting our class today to tell us about your important job as a firefighter. The class had thought up a number of questions to ask and you shared lots of important facts about your job, your uniform and keeping safe. Mrs Davidson had the opportunity to try on the protective uniform and said it felt heavier than expected. Primary 2 were able to label the different parts of the uniform later during their follow up literacy lesson. During our outdoor play we pretended that we were firefighters and helped to save our playhouse that was on fire. Such brave firefighters we were! In the sand tray we designed a route for our emergency vehicles.
