The children dug up carrots and other vegetables to make their soup. Preparing the vegetables took some time but the class were a great help. Potatoes, leeks, carrots and parsley were cut and placed in the saucepan of stock. In our PDMU lessons we had been talking about sharing and had listening to the story called The Stone Soup. Our soup tasted great just like the soup in the story.
