Dear Parents
We would really appreciate it if parents/adults collecting children would lineup at the cones along the front of the building and round the fence at nursery. Then move along the queue until you are outside the nursery door.
We want children to follow the home time routine of sitting in a seat at a table top activity until their name is called when an adult is at the door to collect them. They can then be safely received by an adult rather than running out across the distance of tarmac when they see their parent.
This will also enable me to know who is next in the queue and facilitate adults and staff conversing if necessary.
