Our Roots of Empathy Family Visit
Today we welcomed baby Herbie with our welcome song. We watched how Herbie loved to have tummy time and how he pushed himself over on the Infant Roll at only 12 weeks old. We measured Herbie's height and also measured him to see if the Roots of Empathy doll (named Tom) was taller or shorter than him. We then demonstrated with a pupil if Herbie got tired lying on his tummy he wouldn't be able to get up so he would have to cry or make a sound but our pupil showed that she would just be able to lift herself up or roll over. Herbie was such a happy baby today and he loved meeting the boys and girls. We look forward to seeing Herbie and his mummy again in a few weeks.
