It was our turn to welcome our friends from St Patrick’s for the third Shared Education day learning more about the ill fated Titanic. Half went with Mr Crawford to see short animations showing the construction and summarising the maiden and final voyage. Next they used corruflute ( corrugated plastic sheet) to construct their own ship of dreams. They were very creative adding flags, funnels and portholes and will be able to take them home to test in their bathtubs.
Mrs Bradley’s group were using the iPads to research an aspect of the topic of their own choosing. They then used Book Creator to begin to make a visual illustrated record. Finally after lunch, we all discussed the food served to first, second and third class passengers and created our own dream menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
