The weather was amazing today for our Spring walk in Peatlands. We noticed blossom, fresh green leaves, bluebells, buttercups and moss. We also found pine cones and crunchy brown leaves lying in the undergrowth. We made temporary art pictures with some of the items we found. The birds were so happy and were singing. A friendly robin followed us and there were some ducks chasing each other. We enjoyed time in the play park and exploring in the woodland school. We also had some Percy the Park Keeper drama and enjoyed s’mores round a campfire. A special visitor came to see us but unfortunately Mrs McMillan arrived just as we had put the campfire out so she missed having a s’more. Thank you so much to everyone who kindly brought their child and collected them again. We really appreciate you facilitating this trip for us.
