Petal Perfume
17th Apr 2024
We dissected flowers and looked at the different parts. It was hard work using mortar and pestles to crush the petals but we were good at persevering. We noticed that we could smell the flowers even more when they were crushed. The crushed petals were steeped in hot water overnight and the next morning we were able to use sieves to strain the perfume off from the crushed petals. We poured it carefully into bottles. We thought about some good names for our perfume like ‘Princess”, “Fire”, “Flower” and “Blue”, and sold them at our perfume shop!
