Rotary Club planting crocuses
10th Nov 2019
We all enjoyed the visit of the local Rotary Club during the week to plant crocuses in our school grounds. The crocuses are purple for polio to remind us of the fundraising effort to wipe out polio worldwide. Only three countries remain with polio so money raised will buy vaccines 💉 to protect the children in these African countries and soon polio will be a disease of the past. The children had great fun and enjoyed chatting with our visitors. We hope they all flower in the new year.
