Sam and Sara's Story
Sam and Sara are really missing their friends at Nursery. On Wednesday they were told that Nursery was closing because of a nasty virus called Corona. This made them feel nervous and confused as to what was going to happen. They felt sad because they loved being at Nursery and seeing everyone and now no boys and girls would be there.
Mrs Kaestner and Mrs McMahon explained that the children needed to go home to stop the bad germs spreading and try and keep everyone healthy. They reminded Sam and Sara to keep washing their paws with warm water and soap while singing 'Happy Birthday', and not to put their paws in their mouth. If they have a cough or a sneeze they have to catch it in a tissue, bin it and wash their paws. They were told all this would help kill the germs and keep them healthy.
Mrs Kaestner took Sam and Sara home to her house so they wouldn't feel lonely. Sam and Sara love going to visit other people so they were excited to have their bags packed and ready to go. They enjoyed seeing some sheep and lambs on their way home and loved looking at the cows behind Mrs Kaestner's house. Then it was time for a snack before they got settled in and went off to explore.
At 6:30 it was time for a bath. Sam and Sara loved taking a bath and Mrs Kaestner had a lot of water to dry up afterwards! They got into their pyjamas and snuggled up for a bedtime story. Sam wanted one about cows. Then it was time to wash their paws, brush their teeth and cuddle up in bed with their favourite toys.
Sam and Sara send their love to all their Nursery friends and hope to see you all again soon.
