Today we visited St Patrick’s for an action packed morning. We enjoyed meeting a ceramic artist today and working with the clay in our workshop groups. Some of us were surprised that clay actually comes from the ground. Diane helped us create our own clay tile which we decorated with butterflies and flowers. We enjoyed creating patterns in the clay by pressing in different shapes and designs. Diane is now going to take all the clay tiles home to fire in her kiln. She will then put the tiles together to create a masterpiece for both schools to enjoy.
