The Great Outdoors 🍏
6th Oct 2022
Primary one were autumn detectives today and found leaves, nuts and berries around the school grounds. In groups, the children arranged their produce to make autumn masterpieces. They also enjoyed throwing up sycamore helicopter seeds and watching them rotate down to the ground. Stewing apples was the next activity. Some children tried to peel a brambley apple, while others helped to cut them up ready for stewing. The class conducted taste tests and recorded their results using a smiley face system. Apple printing activities completed P1’s action packed day.
