The Owl Babies book was our literacy text for the last couple of weeks. We enjoyed watching an online version of the story, learnt an owl poem, found out about captions and Primary 2 made up their own speech bubbles relating to the story. We now know lots of facts about owls and their baby owlets. We also enjoyed ripping paper to create our own owls and spent time researching books in our non fiction library for owl facts.
