Well Teddy Clinic
Doctor Graham kindly visited us today to run our well Teddy clinic. We learned about some of the really important jobs doctors and nurses do and the special clothes they wear and equipment they use. Doctor Graham is an anaesthetist and he needed our help so we got appropriately ready with our head coverings, masks and gloves. We needed to check our teddies with our stethoscopes. We also listened to some of our hearts and stomachs. Some of the patients needed oxygen masks and others needed to have bandages applied. It was so much fun filling the syringes that all the teddies got an injection! We had to check our patients were awake again by shining a torch into their eyes. Doctor Graham also showed us that gloves can be blown up into balloons! We learned so much and now some of us want to be doctors and nurses and look after people, helping them to get well. Thank you so much Doctor Graham for teaching us about your job!
