During small group time the children were learning to sit with their legs ‘cross-cross apple sauce’ which promotes their core strength and postural stability. We used visuals and Makaton signs for good listening - eyes looking, ears listening and quiet mouths. We practised our ability to share and take turns. The children enjoyed making a starry night sky, singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and making glitter bottles. We were good at selecting coloured buttons and counting. We are also very happy to welcome Mrs Matchett as an assistant this year.
